Buses and bullets
A 19-year-old straphanger was rushed to the hospital Monday night after he was shot on a B36 bus rumbling across Nostrand Avenue, officials said.
Stunned witnesses said that a dispute between two teens ended with the echoing sound of gunfire at about 9 p.m. on August 18.
The victim, police said, was shot in the left leg and the forearm and was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
The gunman was still at large as this paper went to press.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Breaking all the rules
Cops are looking for a muscle-bound menace that broke a 62-year-old woman’s arms during a purse-snatching in Gravesend last week.
The senior told police that she was walking down West 11th Street near Avenue U just after 5 p.m. on August 14 when the thief, described only as a white male, grabbed her arm.
After a tug of war over the purse, the thief pulled hard enough to snap the woman’s arm in two, sending a piece of the bone jutting through the skin.
The thief fled the area in a dark-colored Suburban, officials said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was listed in stable condition after treatment.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.

Bagel bozos
A group of sticky-fingered thugs beat up a worker at a Sheepshead Bay bagel shop after he tried to stop them from leaving with an assortment of free food.
The victim, a worker at Knap Street Bagel, 2771 Knapp Street, told police that he was minding the store at 11:50 p.m. on August 16 when the unidentified thieves walked in and began taking items off the shelves.
The suspects were about to leave the establishment with about $40 worth of food when the employee tried to stop him – and was pounded for his trouble.
After hitting the worker several times in the face, the thieves ran off with their loot, officials said.
The clerk’s injuries weren’t severe, officials said.
Breathing problems
An area teenager was stabbed in the throat during a clash with an unidentified assailant on 17th Avenue near 78th Street recently, officials said.
Cops did not disclose what started the fight, which broke out just after 2:45 p.m. on August 13.
After slicing the victim’s throat, the suspect jumped into a dark-colored vehicle and sped off westbound on 78th Street, officials said.
EMS paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition after treatment.
Homeward broke
A 33-year-old man was robbed of his cash and cell phone as he made his way home through Gravesend Sunday, officials said.
The victim told police that he was walking down West 8th Street near Avenue P at 1:15 a.m. on August 17 when an unidentified male in his 20s approached him.
The thug motioned to his waistband as if he had a gun and demanded that the victim hand over the property.
After ripping his victim off, the thief fled the area in a white Suburban, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Gunning for cash
An Asian male armed with a revolver is being sought for a robbery on 85th Street near Bay Parkway.
A 31-year-old man told police that he was just about to step into his building with his wife at 11:20 p.m. on August 16 when the thief grabbed him from behind.
The man flashed his gun and robbed his victim of $260 in cash, a few credit cards and a cell phone, cops were told.
He was last seen fleeing southbound 85th Street toward 24th Avenue in a Cadillac Escalade, cops said.
Not-so-flowery disposition
A 21-year-old man is being sought for bashing his brother in the head with a flower pot during a heated argument, cops from the 62nd Precinct said.
The victim, 34, said that the two were arguing in their home on Bay 34th Street when his younger sibling began punching, kicking and spitting at him.
His grand finale was to lob a flower pot at his older brother, leaving the man with an injury above his left eye.
It was unclear what the two men were arguing about when this paper went to press.
As of this writing, cops were still searching for the suspect.
Beaten on cue
A 27-year-old man was left with bruises during a clash with a group of men armed with pool cues, officials said this week.
The victim told police that he was at a restaurant at 18th Avenue near 86th Street at 4:30 a.m. on August 15 when a fight broke out between himself and a group of men inside.
The thugs hit him with pool cues until he ran out of the establishment, officials said.
A smash hit
A 57-year-old woman walked out of a summertime thriller at the Sheepshead Bay UA only to find a mystery of her own in the theater’s parking lot.
Police said that while she enjoyed the movie inside the Shore Parkway theater, someone bashed in a back window on her 2004 Ford Taurus, taking a GPS device that was inside.
The break-in took place between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on August 13, officials said.
Jewelry heist
Upwards of $15,000 worth of jewelry was taken from an East 24th Street home in Sheepshead Bay last week, officials said.
The 38-year-old homeowner told police that someone broke into his home between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. on August 16. The thieves forced their way into a side window leading to a bedroom in order to get inside.
The thieves ransacked two bedrooms, taking every bauble they found, cops were told.
Bike break
A knife-wielding thug robbed a 15-year-old of his bike in Sheepshead Bay recently, but not because he was seeking any monetary gain.
He just couldn’t walk anymore, according to police.
The teen told police that he was pedaling toward the corner of Knapp Street and Shore Parkway at 4:30 p.m. on August 7 when the unidentified thief approached and flashed a knife.
“I’m tired of walking,” the thug said. “Give me your f—king bike.”
Fearing violence, the victim gave up his $360 GT Agusser mountain bike, and was forced to walk home.
Cops were still looking for the thief as this paper went to press.
Robbed of sneakers
A crew of thugs’ hell bent on acquiring a nice pair of sneakers are being sought for robbing two men in Bensonhurst recently.
The victims told police that the sneakers, as well as a cell phone and a black bag, were among the items stolen at the corner of New Utrecht Avenue and 70th Street on August 8.
The two were approaching the intersection at 11:30 p.m. that night when they claimed they were jumped by a group of unknown males.
As the 21-year-old was manhandled and robbed, the friend was left beaten and bruised, officials said.
