Bribe boozer bust

Cops claim a 61-year-old who was arrested for drunk driving on Kathleen Court on Nov. 27 got in even hotter water when he tried to bribe the two police officers who took him into custody.

Police said that the motorist was nabbed near Coney Island Avenue after he smashed his 2010 Acura into three parked cars at 5:15 pm.

But when he was taken to the 61st Precinct, he asked a cop, “What can I do for you so that I don’t see a judge?” then offered to give the cops more than $1,900.

Unfortunately for him, cops got his offer on tape — then charged him with bribery.

Three shot

A trigger-happy gunman opened fire on a group outside of an 86th Street store on Nov. 20 — wounding three people.

Witnesses said the victims were standing outside Mee Mee’s near Avenue V at 10:31 pm when the suspect opened fire.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the forearm while a 45-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the foot, police said. A third man, a 38-year-old believed to be the intended target, was shot in the buttocks, face and leg, police said.

Busted for robbery

Cops arrested a 19-year-old who they say robbed a man of his chain during an Oct. 15 skirmish on E. 18th Street.

The victim said he was between Avenues T and U at 11:50 pm when the suspect ran up, punched him in the face, and ran off with his jewelry.

Investigators caught up with the alleged thief on Nov. 27, charging him with robbery.

A thief grabbed up an assortment of electronics from a Manhattan Beach home on Nov. 25 — but was nabbed with the loot on Oceanview Avenue.

The victim, a resident of Shore Boulevard, said that someone broke into his apartment sometime after 7 am, taking two iPhones, an iPad and a laptop computer.

Cops connected the alleged thief to the burglary the next day, when they were called to his Oceanview Avenue home for an unrelated incident — and found the stolen electronics inside.

E. 14th St. attack

Cops arrested a 16-year-old who they claim robbed a woman on E. 14th Street on Nov. 10.

The victim said she was nearing Kings Highway at 2 pm when the suspect jumped her, beating and pulling her hair — and taking her purse and cigarettes.

Cops caught up with the suspect this week, charging him with robbery in the second degree.

Threat assessment

A 29-year-old was arrested on Nov. 23 after he threatened to gun down two groups of people during two separate incidents, according to cops.

Police were told that the suspect flashed a gun in front of a man on W. Sixth Street near Avenue V at 2:45 pm on Nov. 21, claiming that he was going to kill the man and his wife.

Two days later, he allegedly called an office on Kings Highway, claiming that the victim “should watch what happens to the office workers.”
