Frisky friend

Police arrested a man for groping a woman and biting her arm on Brighton Sixth Court on Dec. 29, officials said.

The woman told police that she is friends with the man and spent the night at his apartment between Brighton Beach Avenue and Brightwater Court. When she woke up the next morning, the man began groping her chest and butt, according to a police report.

A struggle ensued and the man bit the woman’s right arm. But he stopped when he received a phone call from work and left the apartment.

The woman filed a police report shortly after the attack, authorities said.

Armed robbery

Three gun-wielding goons busted into a man’s W. 33rd Street apartment on Jan. 1 and robbed him, said police.

The 53-year-old victim was in his home between Bayview and Neptune avenues at 8:50 pm when he opened the door, at which point the baddies forced their way inside, according to a police report.

Two of the miscreants flashed handguns at the man. One of the louts struck him across the face with a firearm and swiped $65 from his pocket. The men grabbed another $100 from the victim’s friend, authorities said.

Three other people in the apartment hid in the bedroom until the men fled in an unknown direction, officials said.

Box-cutter brute

Police arrested a man for threatening a woman with a box-cutter and pushing her down a flight of stairs at a W. 31st Street building on Dec. 26, authorities said.

The woman told police that she and the man were arguing about their past relationship in an apartment building stairwell between Mermaid and Surf avenues at 5:30 pm. The argument turned physical when the man began pushing the 24-year-old woman, brandished a box-cutter, and shouted, “I’m gonna cut you. I’m gonna give you a smiley face,” police said.

The man shoved the woman down the stairs and ran off with $300 and a cellphone that fell out of her pocket during the struggle, officials said.

Shooting

A brute shot a teen in the ankle on W. 29th Street on Jan. 1, said police.

The 18-year-old man told police that he was leaving the lobby of an apartment building between Mermaid and Surf avenues at 1:55 am when an unknown man shot him in the left ankle. Police recovered a shell casing and are reviewing lobby surveillance footage, according to a police report.

Buckle beating

Police arrested a man for whipping another man with a belt buckle on Neptune Avenue on Dec. 29, said police.

The two men got into a fight near W. 16th Street at 4:30 am before the suspect pulled out his metal belt buckle and whacked the victim on the head and neck multiple times, authorities said.

The man also bit the victim’s hand and broke his necklace during the struggle, said police.

Makeshift surgeon

Police arrested two men who they say forced their way into a man’s Surf Avenue apartment on Dec. 30 and sliced his forehead with a scapel, said police.

The victim told police that the two men shoved their way into his home between W. 30th and W. 31st streets at 3:55 pm. One of the men slashed the victim’s forehead with the scapel while the other grabbed his metal bracelet and cash from his pockets, officials said.

The men threatened the victim not to call the police, but once they fled he called the authorities, who arrested the men on the scene, police said.
