A 30-year-old man was arrested for threatening a man and damaging his car on E. 32nd Street on Sept. 7.

The victim told police that he was inside his home between Avenues J and K at 11:40 pm when the suspect, holding a screwdriver, began shouting at him from the street.

“Fight me like a man,” the suspect allegedly barked, in a tirade that lasted for about 20 minutes. Eventually, the enraged suspect used his screwdriver on the victim’s car, causing $250 worth of damage, cops said.

Shattering expectations

Police arrested a 51-year-old who they say attacked another man inside an E. 56th Street apartment on Sept. 8.

The victim told police that he was inside the apartment between Foster Avenue and Farragut Road at 5 pm when the suspect shoved him, causing the victim to smash into a glass cabinet.

Gun nut

A 30-year-old man was arrested for threatening another man at gunpoint on Avenue H on Sept. 7.

The victim told police that he was near E. 55th Street at 8:41 am when the suspect pulled the pistol on him and threatened his life. When the suspect was arrested, police recovered a Sig Sauer Model p220 .45 caliber handgun, cops said.
