Cops are on the lookout for a man who tried to rob a Chase Bank on Flatbush Avenue at Church Avenue on Sept. 25, according to a report.
The would-be bandit strode into the bank at 12:50 pm and passed the teller a note demanding money, cops said. Before he could grab the loot, however, the suspect apparently got spooked and took off, fleeing down Flatbush Avenue in the direction of Snyder Avenue, officers stated.
Security cameras at the bank captured images of the suspect, who police describe as about 35 years old, 175 pounds, and wearing a green baseball hat, blue jeans, and a short-sleeve, button-down shirt at the time of the robbery.
The NYPD asks those with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477, go to www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text-message tips to 274637 and enter “TIP577”.
