A Prospect Lefferts Gardens man died Monday after apparently falling into a courtyard from a nearby apartment building, cops have confirmed.
The fire department were first on the scene shortly after 12:50 p.m. on July 10, where they found the man unresponsive in the courtyard between 125 and 115 Lenox Road, a few blocks from Prospect Park.
Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the man before taking him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from injuries “indicative of falling from a height,” according to an NYPD spokesperson.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing as cops seek to determine whether the man was pushed or fell from the roof of the six-story building.
In a separate incident Monday afternoon, a 4-year-old boy died after falling from the window of an East Flatbush apartment building.
At around 3 p.m. on July 10, authorities were called to 3301 Farragut Road, where officers found the boy — who has not yet been named — unconscious and unresponsive on the ground beneath the building. Paramedics rushed the boy to Kings County Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to a preliminary investigation into the fatal fall, the boy plummeted from a window on the fourth floor of the apartment building.
