78th Precinct

Park Slope

The envelope

A quick-moving thief snatched an envelope containing $2,000 from a woman on Fifth Avenue on June 18.

The 46-year-old victim told cops she withdrew the cash from a bank near Ninth Street, put the money in an envelope, and slipped it in to her back pocket.

She later bumped into an older lady on the sidewalk — then noticed the money was gone three hours later.

Fashion police!

A crook swiped some designer clothes left on a First Street apartment stoop for dry-cleaning pick-up on June 15.

The 37-year-old victim told cops she placed a purple Armani dress and a pair of John Varvatos pants on her stoop near Eighth Avenue at 3 pm. She then learned her threads never made it to the shop.

Bashed ride

A perp smashed the window of a car parked on Sixth Avenue between April 17 and June 18 — and stole a laptop left inside.

The 48-year-old victim told cops she parked her red 2005 Nissan Pathfinder near Sixth Street.

She came back two months later and discovered her window shattered and the steering wheel, an air bag, and a laptop gone.

Pill-aged

A thief ran off with hundreds of dollars worth of medicine from a pharmacy on Flatbush Avenue on June 18.

A worker at Duane Reade near Park Place told cops a man wearing a white jacket walked into the shop at 9 am, grabbed several bottles of allergy medicine, then ran off without paying.

Dodgy driver

A perp jacked a van on Ninth Street on June 15.

The victim told cops he parked a red 2001 Dodge Caravan — which belonged to Good Shepard Services, a family support center — near Fourth Avenue at 5 pm, then went home.

He came back three days later and discovered the $5,000 ride gone with no sign of broken glass.

That’s Lowe

A sneaky jerk swiped a credit card from a home improvement shop on Second Avenue on June 21.

The 34-year-old victim told cops he accidentally left his credit card at Lowe’s Home Improvement near 11th Street at 12:25 pm. A cashier then placed the card in an office for safekeeping — but someone swiped it from there.

Disappearing wallet

A pick-pocket snatched a wallet from a woman on 15th Street on June 17.

The 25-year-old victim told cops she was walking near Prospect Park West at 3:15 pm when she discovered her wallet missing.

She later got a call from a Radio Shack employee, reporting a stranger had her credit card.
