Police arrested a 25-year-old man for the death of a pregnant woman at a Red Hook housing project on Jan. 29.

Authorities responded to a 911 call at around 2 am, and found 27-year-old Tatiana Walton unresponsive in front of the Red Hook Houses on Lorraine Street between Otsego and Columbia streets, leaving neighbors shocked at the horrific scene.

“I woke up and saw all of this. Wow,” said Red Hook resident Eli Dedina. “Blessings to the victim and her family.”

Paramedics rushed Walton — who the New York Post reported was “visibly pregnant” — to Methodist Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead, according to authorities. The medical examiner will determine her official cause of death.

Cops, who were seen processing the potential crime scene until the early morning hours, had been searching for a dark colored Honda in connection with the incident.

Authorities arrested the Long Island man on Jan. 30 and officially classified the incident as a homicide on Feb. 5, according to police, who said that the investigation remains ongoing.
