Canine brethren doffed their ties and frolicked unencumbered at Prospect Park‘s Long Meadow to celebrate the first anniversary of the off-leash passage.
The relaxed romp drew pooches and pet owners to the sprawling green for a day of unbridled fun, presented by NYCdog and FIDO (Fellowship for the Interests of Dogs and their Owners).
To mark the occasion, man’s best friend was treated to an outdoor breakfast of treats.
The off-leash regulations allow dog owners and their pets limited off-leash rights at certain times and places within most New York City parks.
