Firefighters suited up and laddered up as they rushed to combat an all-hands fire in a Nostrand Avenue apartment building Sunday.
Officials said that a dozen fire trucks and upwards of 60 firefighters were seen combatting the blaze above a nail salon near Glenwood Road.
FDNY officials said that the fire was sparked at 1:30 p.m. on February 7 and rendered under control within 45 minutes.
No injuries were reported, although firefighters evacuated the building. When the smoke cleared, a small family with two children was left homeless, witnesses said.
