A 23-year-old man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly shot a victim multiple times outside a Sheepshead Bay NYCHA building in July.

Tyler Parker was picked up by police on Aug. 31, one month after he allegedly shot a 35-year-old following a verbal dispute in front of 3549 Nostrand Ave., police said.

According to authorities, Parker, of Sheepshead Bay, got into an argument with the victim outside Sheepshead-Nostrand Houses at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday, July 29.

He then allegedly fired off multiple shots, striking the 35-year-old in torso before fleeing the scene on foot, police said.

The victim was removed to Lutheran Hospital in critical but stable condition, and has since recovered.

Parker was arrested by officers from the 61st Precinct at 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 31 and charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminals possession of a weapon.

According to the latest police department data, there have been three reported shooting incidents this year in the 61st Precinct, which includes Kings Bay, Gravesend, Sheepshead Bay, and Manhattan Beach – down slightly from last year, when there had been seven shootings as of Aug. 27.
