A shop owner saved a teen from two villains who tried to rob him on Flatbush Avenue on June 17.
The 17-year-old victim told police that the baddies walked up to him and told him to give up his bag near Lafayette Avenue just after 5 p.m.
He then ran across the street and into a store at the corner of Livingston Street, where one of the crooks followed him in before the manager told the nogoodnik to scram, according to the authorities.
The delinquents then made a run for it towards Fulton Street, cops said.
Gun-slinging goons
Two ne’er-do-wells robbed a man at gunpoint on Ashland Place on June 17.
The victim told police that he was walking on Willoughby Street when the reprobates walked up to him, and one of them pulled out a gun and told him to give up his wallet and cell phone at 11:10 p.m.
The man handed over his valuable to the louts, who then made a run for it towards Flatbush Avenue Extension, according to cops.
Tricked!
A group of gun-toting rakes ambushed a man on Cumberland Street on June 20.
The victim told police he was meeting one of the guys to buy an iPhone, but was instead met with three wretches who surrounded him — with one showing off a gun — who told him to give up his stuff at Atlantic Commons at 3:10 p.m.
After fleecing him, the rogues towards Hanson Place and S. Oxford Street, police said.
Have a seat
Police collared a man they suspect of throwing a chair at his brother inside their Fulton Street apartment on June 18.
The victim told police that he was arguing with his sibling when he started hurling furniture around the place, wrecking their father’s fish tank and book shelves, before throwing a computer chair at the victim’s leg, between St. Jaimes Place and Washington Avenue at 11 a.m.
Cops arrested the man and hit him with felony assault charges a half an hour later, according to police.
Kids these days
A woman assaulted her elderly pops while he was riding his bike on Washington Walk on June 18.
The 65-year-old victim told police his daughter pushed him off his bike before she punched him several times in the face and hip near Myrtle Avenue at 11 p.m.
Support structure
A guy caught a bumbling thief red-handed inside a Prince Street office building on June 17.
The witness told police that he caught the sneak in the lobby of the building near Fleet Place, before then noticing that someone had smashed the glass front door with a brick, which was still lying on the floor at 11:50 p.m.
He then asked the scoundrel what he was doing and he answered, “I followed them in here. I shouldn’t have followed them in here,” according to police.
The witness then told the rapscallion that surveillance cameras were recording him, and the lout then nabbed a bag with two packages and made a run for it, according to the authorities.
Support structure
A brute smashed a woman’s head against scaffolding on Carlton Avenue on June 23.
The victim told police that she was hanging out with friends when the brute tried talking to her near Park Avenue at 3:30 a.m.
She then tried to walk away from the bruiser, who punched her in the face, banged her head against some nearby scaffolding, and then walked away from the scene before cops showed up, cops said.
