A bloody battle that injured four young men erupted in mysterious circumstance in Fort Greene on Nov. 15
Police did not know the cause of the fight, but around 11 pm, two men, aged 20 and 21, told police that one was stabbed in the abdomen and another was stabbed in the back by an unknown villain at the corner of Flatbush and Atlantic avenues.
Minutes later at 11:10, at the nearby corner of Hanson Place and St. Felix Street, a 16-year-old and 21-year-old were attacked, too. They suffered cuts to their heads and back, also at the hands of a lone assailant wielding an unidentified weapon.

Two punks mugged a teenager for his iPod at the corner of Hanson Place and South Portland Avenue on Nov. 12.
The 16-year-old victim told police that the hooligans sneaked up and grabbed him from behind at 3:45 pm. He believed the ruffians had a weapon and they also told him that if he followed them, he would get hurt.

A Flatbush Avenue retailer will have hard a time finding anyone worthy of employee of the month award, because several workers in different conspiracies were caught for scamming the store out of thousands of dollars of merchandise.
Two men were busted for stealing a bushel of Apple iPods between Oct. 21 and Nov. 13 in the store between Atlantic Avenue and Hanson Place.
According to the police report, the thieves, aged 24 and 26, signed written confessions that they stole 33 iPods and four Microsoft Zunes (who wants a Zune?) from the store.
In another foiled plot, police arrested two women on Nov. 14 for selling each other products at discounted prices and for allowing their acquaintances to take items for free. The report says the women, aged 17 and 18, defrauded the store out of $1,517 worth of goods.
Run for his $
Two teens were arrested for beating a man out for a jog on Vanderbilt Avenue on Nov. 15.
The 21-year-old victim told police that the 15- and16-year-old suspects knocked him down and punched him repeatedly in the face and head while sitting on top of him. They fled from the corner of Willoughby Avenue at 7:33 pm with the runner’s iPod, but were caught by a patrolling officer.
