Three people stole five figures from a man in a bank parking lot on Flatbush Avenue on June 11.
The robbery occurred at 10:23 am following a car crash near E. 32nd Street involving the victim’s vehicle and a gray Toyota that had three people in it, two of whom got out and went after the victim, according to police.
“One of them hit the victim in the face, a second went into his car and took items,” said a police spokesman.
The thieves took about $13,000 in cash from the victim and then fled in the Toyota. The victim declined medical treatment, according to the spokesman.
There were no arrests as of the afternoon on June 15, also according to the spokesman.
A spokesman for the bank served by the parking lot where the robbery occurred could not immediately say whether the victim was a customer.
