Bag snatcher

A jerk snatched a woman’s bag at Flatlands Avenue on Feb. 2.

The woman was waiting at the bus stop near E. 57th Street at 6:50 am when the rake grabbed her bag and fled on nearby Avenue I towards Kings Highway, police reported.

Gold digger

A thief stole expensive jewelry from an Avenue U department store on Jan. 26.

The baddie was in the store near E. 55th Street at 7:30 pm when he reached behind the store’s glass jewelry case, took several gold bracelets worth an estimated $32,600, and made a run for it, officials said.

Clean robbery

A bandit looted a man’s car parked on Schenectady Avenue on Jan. 24.

The victim told cops that the lout stole several electronics and a brown bag from the car parked outside his residence between Avenues N and O sometime between 8 and 11 pm.

The car had no signs of forced entry, cops said.

Wallet thief

Someone stole a woman’s wallet from a coffee shop inside an Avenue U shopping center on Feb. 3.

The woman was getting a cup of joe at the mall near Flatbush Avenue at noon before heading to work, cops said.

When she got to work she realized that she’d left her wallet in the coffee shop, so she went back around 6 pm to look for it but couldn’t find it, according to the authorities.

She checked her bank accounts and saw that someone had made transactions worth hundreds of dollars at three different clothing stores, so she then canceled her card, cops said.
