Man to man
A thug stole thousands of dollars of fancy electronics from a man he’d met on an online dating site on March 7.
The victim told cops that he invited a man to his Flatbush Avenue Extension home at around 10:30 pm after meeting him on the dating Web site Adam4Adam.com. After the victim had fallen asleep, the bad boyfriend swiped two laptops, an iPod, and iPhone, two watches and $580 from the apartment, which is between Willoughby Street and DeKalb Avenue.
When the victim woke a few hours later, he realized that he’d been had.
Bad workout
A thief swiped a purse and expensive accessories from an athlete’s locker on March 9.
The victim told cops that she locked up her goods in the women’s locker room at the frequently burglarized Planet Fitness on Duffield Street between Fulton and Lawrence streets around 6:40 am.
When she returned from her workout an hour later, the lock was gone, along with her pocketbook, boots, Ray Ban sunglasses, Calvin Klein raincoat, and $60.
Silent crime
A thief swiped headphones from a man on Livingston Street on March 9.
The victim told cops he was walking by Bond Street at 4:43 pm when the perp snatched the headphones and fled.
Come right in
A perp waltzed into an unlocked apartment on Columbia Place on March 7, stealing a laptop and a PlayStation game console.
The victim told cops that he left his apartment, which is between State and Joralemon streets, at around 8:15 am, and returned 12 hours later to find his computer and video games gone.
Take two
Two apartments in a Willow Street building were burglarizezd on March 9 — and cops believe the same perp did the deed.
In the first incident, a resident of the building between Cranberry and Orange streets told cops that she left her third-floor apartment at around 7 am and returned at 5:10 pm to find that an air-conditioning unit had been removed, allowing the thief to enter and steal a computer.
An hour and a half later, another resident told cops that his apartment had been burglarized of a cellphone, tie clips and $80.
Car tunes
At least one car was swiped and another burglarized this week:
• A thug broke into a car on Jay Street on March 13. The victim told cops he parked by York Street at around 1:30 pm, and when he returned three hours later, his trunk was open and two laptops worth $4,600 were gone.
• A thief swiped a car from Wyckoff Street on March 11. The victim told cops that she parked between Bond and Nevins streets at around 12:30 pm and returned eight hours later to find the car gone.
