The South Canarsie Civic Association will hold a candidates forum open to all Canarsiens at 7:30 p.m., June 22 at Congregation AAA Sfard, 1385 East 94th Street and Avenue L.
Invited mayoral candidates include the Hon. Michael Bloomberg, Comptroller William C. Thompson Jr., Councilman Tony Avella, Borough President Marty Markowitz, Councilman Charles Barron, Councilman Lewis Fidler, and Canarsie activist Elias J. Weir.
The moderators will be the 58th Women’s District Leader Melba Brown, and 41st District President Mercedes Narcisse.
