Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz (back row, third from left) donned a “playground hat” as he joined Out2Play Executive Director Andrea Wenner (second from left) to unveil renderings of a new playground on property shared by the Brooklyn New School-PS 146, 610 Henry Street and Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies-MS 448, 284 Baltic Street. He also joined students from the two schools, many of whom helped design the playground, which will replace the barren asphalt lot that has served as the schools’ only outdoor play space. The beep’s office and Out2Play additionally bring two new playgrounds to PS 191, 1600 Park Place and PS 93, 31 New York Avenue.
