A speeding driver fatally struck a motorcyclist and suffered critical injuries in a crash in Brooklyn Sunday evening, Oct. 17, according to the Police Department.
The 25-year-old driver was heading south on Ralph Avenue in East Flatbush at a high speed when rear-ended the two-wheeler heading in the same direction near Clarendon Road just after 5 pm.
Paramedics brought the motorcyclist, 24-year-old Joshua-Dixon Taylor of nearby Bergen Beach, to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car was brought to Brookdale as well in critical condition.
The eastern Brooklyn intersection has seen 38 crashes that injured 65 people over the past decade.
