Spike Hill Is Williamsburg’s St. Patrick’s Day Central

Williamsburg’s Spike Hill will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2010 with five days of music, food and festivities, March 13-17.

The pub, 184 Bedford Avenue, will serve cocktail and draft beer specials and a limited-time St. Patrick’s Week menu — including Irish culinary classics like bangers and mash, corn beef and cabbage and Guinness beef stew — to compliment its regular menu.

Next door, Spike Hill’s music room at 186 Bedford will be overrun by 22 bands and artists over the course of the week, all leading up to a massive St. Patrick’s Day party.

The celebration commences St. Patrick’s Day, 3 p.m., with a special guest DJ spinning classic Irish tunes from Spike Hill’s stage, a visit from an Irish pipe band and unique prize giveaways. Then, from 8 p.m. to midnight, Spike Hill will present St. Patrick’s Day international-style, with non-stop live party music.
