Police are hunting for the masked malcontent who robbed a man at gunpoint in Sheepshead Bay — and got caught in the act on camera.
The gun-toting goon approached his 24-year-old victim near E. 24th Street and Avenue U around 12:30 am on Jan. 9, before flashing the firearm and demanding money from the guy, who subsequently forked over $30 in cash, according to the security footage police released on Tuesday.
The creep fled on E. 24th Street towards Avenue T after stealing the cash, authorities said.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdc
