Teen shot
A 15-year-old girl was shot in the leg on May 30 as she waited for her parents to pick her up on Avenue J.
The teen had just left a Memorial Day barbecue at 7:45 pm and was waiting outside her boyfriend’s home, which is near E. 87th Street, when several shots were fired from down the street.
The young woman ran as soon as she heard the shots, but was hit in the back of her calf, cops were told.
Witnesses told police that the vicitm was an innocent bystander and the shooting had nothing to do with the barbecue. The gunshots may have come from two cars firing upon each other on the next block, they said.

Thieves raid deli
A crew of thieves tunnelled into an Avenue L deli on May 29, taking $600 in cash and some lottery tickets.
Workers at the deli, which is located near E. 94th Street, said that the break-in took place after closing on Sunday. When they opened on Memorial Day, they found a hole in the back wall that the thieves used to get inside.
Barber shop blues
Cops arresting two men responsible for a home invasion caught two barbers in their net on the same night — barbers who tried to protect the thieves when they made their escape.
Police said the stylists were working in a barber shop next door to the E. 81st Street home near Flatlands Avenue that the gunmen raided on May 19.
The goons jumped their victim as he was about to step inside his home at 7:55 pm and forced him to unlock his door.
They pistol-whipped their victim and ran off with the man’s cash and jewelry, but a witness had already called police.
Panicking, the thieves ran out of the house and into the nearby barber shop, looking for sanctuary.
When the cops arrived, the barbers said that they didn’t see the gunmen, even though the suspects were hiding in a back room.
Cops found one of the guns discarded in the trash, but the stylsits said that they never saw the goons.
The two thieves were arrested a short time later and charged with robbery. The two barbers were charged with obstructing government administration.
Shot in office
A gunman opened fire on Utica Avenue on May 29 — hitting a 25-year-old woman working inside a nearby office.
The unidentified shooter pumped bullets into the office at about 2:50 am, striking the woman in both legs.
The gunman ran off and hasn’t been seen since, investigators said.

Wax on, wax off
A thief broke into a van parked on Ralph Avenue on May 26, taking a pricey waxing and buffering machine.
Workers at A&A Maintence said that they had parked the vehicle at 6:45 pm. A few hours later, they learned that someone had popped the lock to the back door and ran off with the expensive piece of equipment.
Car raid
Thieves broke into an Isuzu used for deliveries on May 27, taking $480 from the glove box.
The delivery man left the vehicle on Ralph Avenue at 3 pm. A short time later, he found that the door was forced open and that his money was missing.
