The greatest weekend on the rails — ever!

Once every blue moon, every fortnight of fortnights— perhaps about as frequently as Halley’s Comet comes around — riding the subway on the weekend is unsullied by its characteristically cumbersome service changes.

This is one of those weekends.

Did the MTA coordinate with the weather and conspire to make your first June weekend super awesome? We hope so! Get out there!

All changes are from Saturday, June 2 at 12:01 am to Monday, June 4 at 5 am unless otherwise noted:

F: Trains run in two sections, between Stillwell Avenue and Avenue X and Avenue X and Queens, and Manhattan-bound trains skip Avenue U from 5 am to 1 pm on Sunday.

Q: Manhattan-bound trains skip Neck Road and Avenue U, from 11:30 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday.

Got a transit gripe? You should have none this weekend. Still, you can always e-mail us at erosenberg@cnglocal.com.
