Hole-y moley!
A crafty thief swiped some cash from an office building on St. Johns Place on Aug. 31 — “Mission Impossible” style.
The victim told cops a man walked through the front door of North Park Slope HDFC — a property management company near Sixth Avenue — at 5 pm, then drilled a hole in the hallway wall and stuck his arm through it. He then reached around and opened the door to an office from the inside, grabbed a metal safe full of checks and cash, and split.
Potty-mouthed bandit
A vulgar crook stole a cellphone from a woman on Fourth Avenue on Sept. 4.
The 26-year-old victim told cops she was near Fifth Street at 8:40 pm when a 6-foot-tall man yelled, “Give me your F—— phone, b—-!” then grabbed it from her.
Fashion … police!?
A jerk busted the window of a car parked on Fifth Avenue on Sept. 5 — and swiped some fancy clothes the owner left inside.
The 35-year-old victim told cops he parked his 1999 Toyota sedan near President Street at 10 pm then came back at 6:45 am and discovered his rear window busted. His $800 Movado watch, Banana Republic pants, and other name-brand duds were gone.
Bookworm
A perp swiped a computer from a woman at a library on Fourth Avenue on Sept. 4.
The 32-year-old victim told cops she set a Sony laptop on a desk at a Brooklyn Public Library branch near Pacific Street at 3 pm, then walked away for 25 minutes to use a copy machine. She came back and discovered it gone.
Thief on wheels
A jerk on a bike swiped a cellphone from a woman on Eighth Avenue on Sept. 6.
The 24-year-old victim told cops a man grabbed her iPhone from her near Fourth Street at 10:40 pm, then jumped on a black bike and sped towards Prospect Park.
Tax, man!
Cops say a tax service company pocketed money belonging to a client on Third Avenue last March.
The 31-year-old victim told cops he hired Boss Tax Professional near Baltic Street to prepare his taxes and deposit a tax return check into his personal bank account. But the poor client says he learned last week that the firm forged his name on the $6,400 check and deposited it into its account.
