A nogoodnik stole a woman’s gray and black bike from its parking spot on W. Ninth Street on Jan. 9, police said.

The theft occurred between Court and Smith streets at some point between 12:40 pm and 1:30 pm, when the crook removed the two-wheeler from the lamppost it was chained to, according to police.

Bagged it

Police arrested a man who allegedly attempted to steal household goods from a Beard Street store on Jan. 13.

Officials say the man put the items in his bag inside the store near Otsego Street around 4:30 pm, and allegedly attempted to leave without paying for them, according to police. An employee stopped the man before he could exit, prompting the arrest by police, cops said.

What a tool

A baddie broke into a trailer at a Columbia Street construction site sometime between Jan. 11 and 12.

The nogoodnik entered the trailer near Congress Street by breaking the gate and the window at some point between 3:30 pm and 7 am, police said, adding that the crook did not steal any property.

Broken window

A lout broke the window of a Van Brunt Street business on Jan. 14.

The incident occurred at the establishment near Wolcott Street around 1:30 pm, when the perp broke the glass by hitting it repeatedly, police said.
