Three people were injured in a house fire in East New York early on Monday morning.
Flames erupted on the second floor of an attached two-story home at 106 Louisiana Avenue just after 6:15 a.m., according to the FDNY, and were burning through to the exterior of the house when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The blaze left three residents with minor injuries, per the FDNY, but all civilians were able to evacuate and non were trapped inside the building as the fire progressed.
Using four hose lines, firefighters were able to get the blaze under control by 7:20 a.m. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and is being investigated by the FDNY fire marshal’s office.
