Tribeca Pediatrics is expanding its presence in Brooklyn with the opening of a new Bay Ridge office.
The Fort Hamilton practice — at home on the corner of 89th and Third Avenue, previously home to neighborhood favorite O’Sullivan’s — is inviting local families to a community meet-and-greet this weekend. From 3-5 p.m. on Sept. 30, attendees an tour the office, meet the staff, enjoy a face painting and coloring station for kids, and learn more about why Tribeca Pediatrics is lauded as the state’s best pediatrician.
Dr. Shereen Elmaghrabi will lead the new office. A Kings County resident and native New Yorker, Dr. Elmaghrabi is fluent in Arabic and brings a dedication to compassionate, dependable care to South Brooklyn.
“I’ve known I wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember, and very early on, I realized that pediatrics was where I belonged,” she said in a statement. “Kids are incredibly resilient, their smiles are infectious, and no two days are ever the same. Founded in 1994 by Dr. Michel Cohen in his Tribeca home, Tribeca Pediatrics began with a mission to provide high-quality, low-intervention care to children in the community.
