A deejay provided the musical spark and dancing in the streets ignited it when block residents shared the spirit on block party day in Flatbush.

Families along Vanderveer Place, between East 23rd Street and Flatbush Avenue, kept the good vibes flowing, accompanied by good-feel touches provided by games, grilled delights and, of course, cheer galore.
