Now that riding the subway — and waiting for trains at a subway station — is actually bearable again, the MTA has decided to find another reason for you not to ride the rails this weekend. Few trains are running properly — but don’t let that drag down your gorgeous fall weekend!
All changes are from Saturday, Sept. 22 at 12:01 am to Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 5 am unless otherwise noted:
3: No trains between Franklin Avenue and New Lots Avenue from 6 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday.
4: No trains between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue from 4 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday. Take the shuttle bus.
A: Manhattan-bound trains run via the F line from Jay Street-Metrotech to West Fourth Street.
C: No trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan from 6:30 am to midnight on both Saturday and Sunday. Take the A or the F.
D: Trains run local in both directions between DeKalb Avenue and 36th Street.
F: No trains between Jay Street-Metrotech and 18th Avenue, from 11:30 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday. Take the shuttle.
G: No trains between Hoyt Street-Schermerhorn Street and Church Avenue from 11:30 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday.
J: No trains between Crescent Street and Jamaica Center from 4 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday.
M: Service is suspended. Take the free shuttle between Metropolitan and Myrtle avenues.
