Gold rush
Cops nabbed a gold-digging delinquent after he took a woman’s jewelry on Bedford Avenue on Sept. 14.
The victim told cops that she was near N. 12th Street at 2:40 pm when the creep ripped a gold necklace off her neck and then punched her in the back of the head. The goon fled, but police soon had him wearing some shiny bracelets of his own.
Delinquents
Two thugs robbed a man on Jackson Street on Sept. 18.
The victim told cops that he was near Woodpoint Road at about 11 pm when one of the perps approached, simulated having a gun, and asked, “Do you want to get shot tonight?”
There’s really no good answer to that question, but before the victim could say anything, the other perp sneaked up from behind and began choking the victim, who threw his wallet on the ground.
Bumbershot
Some umbrella-wielding jerk attacked a man at the Meserole Avenue YMCA on Sept. 18.
The victim told police that he was inside the gym between Manhattan Avenue and Lorimer Street at 11:50 pm when the thug repeatedly bashed his skull with the umbrella, causing severe cuts.
Late-night swipe
A gadget-gathering goon made off with some electronics from a Bedford Avenue apartment on Sept. 18.
The victim told cops that she locked her apartment, which is located between N. Sixth and Seventh streets, at 10 pm. When she returned about five hours later, she discovered that her laptop, iPod, Kindle, and camera were missing.
Window cleaner
Some creep cleaned out a N. Fourth Street apartment on Sept. 19.
The victim told cops that she locked her apartment at 7 pm, but 20 minutes later, she returned to find a side window open and two laptops missing. Cops suspect the agile jerk climbed up a fire escape that was accessible from the street.
Broken glass
Some perp stole $5,000 out of a Toyota pickup parked on N. Third Street on Sept. 18.
The victim told cops that he parked between Kent and Wythe avenues at 12:15 am. About two hours later, he found the window smashed and the cash gone.
Road report
At least two vehicles were swiped:
• Some thrill-seeking jerk stole a motorcycle parked on Frost Street between Graham and Manhattan avenues on Sept. 17. The victim told police that he left the bike at 11:45 pm, but when he returned less than an hour later it was gone.
• An environmentally conscious creep stole a Honda Pilot from Russell Street overnight on Sept. 18. The victim told cops that he parked near Driggs Avenue at 6 pm, and discovered it missing at 8 am the next morning.
