A violent thug slashed a 46-year-old man’s face, neck and arm inside a Norman Avenue building on Nov. 24.
The perp approached the victim at 6 pm with two knives and started slashing his body. The suspect ran out of the building to Jewel Street, but police arrested him later that day.
Same-day delivery
A thief stole a TV, iPad, laptop, video game system and jewelry from a Nassau Avenue apartment on Nov. 23.
The tenants left their apartment near Jewel Street at 8:30 am, but when they returned at 5 pm, they discovered that their home had been ransacked and their property was missing.
Woebegone wallet
A thief stole a wallet and credit cards from a car parked on Huron Street between Nov. 20 and Nov. 22.
The driver parked her car at 6 pm, but when she returned to her spot near Manhattan Avenue two days later, she found that her passenger-side window was open and her property was missing.
iPhone ibreak
A thief stole an iPhone, iPad and suitcase from a Ford van on McGuinness Boulevard overnight on Nov. 26.
The driver parked at 11:59 pm and returned to the spot near Greenpoint Avenue at 10:30 am the next day to find his stuff missing.
Scooter libby
A thief stole a Yamaha scooter on Franklin Street on Nov. 21.
The driver chained up the bike near Calyer Street at 12:01 am, but when he returned eight hours later, he saw that his scooter was missing.
Capricious thief
A thief stole a Chevrolet Caprice on Lombardy Street last week.
The driver parked near Varick Avenue on Nov. 20 at 10 pm and returned to the spot on Nov. 25 to find the car gone.
