Votes needed to help bring comfort and joy to seriously ill children

Chase Bank has teamed up with a popular social networking site in a Community Giving initiative.

The award-winning Songs of Love Foundation, which has helped more than 20,000 children nationwide and works with major New York-based hospitals including North Shore/LIJ, NYU Medical Center and Montifiore Medical Center, stands to win $1 million if they receive the most votesbefore January 22 on the Chase Community Giving facebook application.

Working with social workers and child life specialists, the Songs of Love Foundation — which creates personalized songs for children with a life-threatening illness free of charge — has helped bring joy and comfort to seriously ill children with their special form of music therapy. One million dollars would help provide a “Song of Love” to more than 4,000 children.

Their work has been featured on 60 Minutes, NBC Nightly News and the Today Show.

To cast your vote, go to www.songsoflove.org and click on the Chase Community Giving banner before January 22.
