The Allstate Foundation will host a series of Economic Empowerment seminars for women, kicking off with “Women & Money,” 7 p.m., July 27 at Regina Hall, corner of 65th Street and 12th Avenue, with Robert Russo, Allstate agent.
The presentation, entitled “Strategies for Working through Financial Challenges,” will provide information on financial planning and safety, as well as basic tips for building a strong financial base.
This seminar series is part of an economic empowerment initiative by The Allstate Foundation, which has partnered with The Alive in Hope Foundation, and Brooklyn Women’s Services, an affiliate of Maimonides Medical Center to implement a curriculum throughout Brooklyn.
The program will address financial and economic dependence issues as well as provide medical, mental, and social services to all victims affected by domestic violence, regardless of religion, race or creed.
The event is free and is open to all women and their spouses. Space is limited and registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
