Citizen arrest
A duo of housebreakers imprisoned the owner of the W. Fifth Street apartment after breaking in on Feb. 3.
The victim told police the savages stole a number of his expensive possessions from the apartment between West and Neptune avenues and threatened him with a knife around midnight after tying him up.
Grand Theft Auto
A scammer stole $20,000 from prospective car buyers when meeting up somewhere within the confines of the 60th Precinct where he claimed he would sell them the car on Feb. 4.
The victims told police they gave the thief the money and he immediately got into the drivers seat and started driving away around 8:15 pm and one of the victims jumped on the hood of the car to stop the crook but fell off and injured their leg.
Neighborly attack
A bruiser attacked his elderly neighbor at their Neptune Avenue apartment building on Jan. 31.
The victim told police they got into a verbal dispute at the building between Ocean Parkway and W. 15th Street and the brute shoved him to the ground around 7:25 pm causing injury to the victim.
