Shoplifter swipes Corona beer and pizza

Corona virus 

A shoplifter swiped cases of Corona beer and pizza from a Neptune Avenue convenience store on Jan. 13. 

The victim told police the brute hit him with a shopping cart when attempting to stop him at the door of the store between W. 17th and W. 19th street before exiting around 10:50 pm but managed to flee. 

Billz Benz 

A carjacker under the pseudonym “Billz Billz” stole a Mercedes Benz after meeting the person selling it on W. 21st Street on Jan. 11. 

The victim told police the thief contacted him on Facebook and they met at the location between Mermaid and Surf avenues where he gave him a copy of the keys so the potential buyer could show the vehicle to his father around noon, the seller then saw the crook through the window driving away with the car.
