Thief goes on shopping spree with stolen credit card

Card swiper

A thief snagged a woman’s credit card from a car parked on Luquer Street sometime between Aug. 3 and Aug. 4.

The victim told police that the bandit used a razor cutter to break into her locked car parked between Clinton Street and Hamilton Avenue, before snatching the victim’s $500 wallet, driver’s license, social security card, and credit car — which the good-for-nothin’ used on a shopping spree. 

Bag snagged

A nogoodnik stole an airbag from a car parked on Warren Street sometime between Aug. 2 and Aug. 3.

The victim told police that the sneak thief broke into the car near Hicks Street overnight, before stealing the seat’s $750 airbag.

Bike burglary

A pilferer nabbed a bike from Richards Street on Aug. 1.

The victim told police that the bandit grabbed the $600 red bike that he had left on the corner of Dikeman Streets unlocked for 25 minutes while running an errand at 11 am. 

Masked bandit 

A thief snatched three packages of face masks from a Clinton Street lobby on July 27.

The victim told police that the pirate stole a package containing $72 worth of face masks from the vestibule of an apartment building between Degraw and Kane streets at around 3 pm.
