Cops arrested a man for assaulting a guy on Atlantic Avenue on June 1, according to a police report.
Police say the suspect beat a man over the head with a cane at 7:25 pm near Third Avenue while engaged in an argument with him.
Cops cuffed the man and charged him with assault.
Swiped!
Some sneak robbed a straphanger at the Hoyt-Schmerhorn subway station on June 1, cops say.
The victim told cops the lout panhandled her for money on the southbound platform of the station at around 9:20 pm. When she took out her wallet to give him money, he swiped it and ran off.
Pills, popped
A pair of sneak thieves ripped off a Jay Street pharmacy on May 31, police say.
Cops say the pair broke into the druggist near Front Street around 5:00 am through a broken window and made off with OxyContin, Adderall, and various amphetamines.
High end thief
A shoplifter made off with two pricy shirts from a Court Street boutique on May 31, police say.
The thief lifted a Versace shirt and a Christian Dior shirt from the shop near Dean Street at around 2:55 pm and fled, according to the police report.
