Hangry hitter
A pair of brutes attacked a delivery cyclist on Sands Street on May 19.
The victim told police that, at Gold Street around 11 pm, the man and woman walked up and demand he hand over his food.
When refused, the guy socked him in the head while his partner-in-crime tried to take the grub, cops said.
The victim continued to fight them off until they fled empty-handed, according to police reports.
Rib jab
Some ruffian fractured a guy’s ribs on Bond Street on May 17.
The victim told cops that, at State Street at 3:50 pm, the ne’er-do-well said, “Don’t f— with me,” and hit him in the chest.
The victim later got an X-ray which showed the attacker broke fractured three of his ribs, according to the authorities.
Caught in the act!
A State Street man caught a burglar going through his home on the night of May 17.
The victim told cops that, between Third and Fourth avenues at 12:50 am, he was in his bedroom when he heard the filcher come in the front door downstairs.
He went to check and saw that someone had taken his car keys and his kid’s mask and when he looked out the window he saw the rogue walk away wearing a reflective vest, according to police.
He chased after him and the bandit dropped a bag which had the mask but no keys, before fleeing on Third Avenue toward Pacific Street, according to police reports.
Doctor’s disorder
Police arrested a woman they say stole food from a Montague Street doctor’s office on the night of May 18.
The victim told cops that, between Clinton and Henry streets at 11:50 pm, he was notified of an alarm for someone breaking into the building and saw the suspect allegedly go through drawers and desks before taking a soda and some food from the cafeteria area.
Cops rushed to the scene and cuffed the woman for felony burglary charges at 12:45 am, according to police reports.
Partners in crime
Police arrested a man and woman they say tried to shoplift clothes from a Fulton Mall department store on May 20.
The victim told police that, between Gallatin Place and Hoyt Street at 4 pm, the two suspect allegedly took a belt, tote bag, earrings, a bracelet, and a necklace worth $2,584 without paying.
Cops caught both of them just outside the store and arrested them for felony grand larceny charges, according to police reports.
Five-finger discount
A sneak nabbed a bunch of shirts from a Fulton Mall department store on May 23.
The victim told cops that, between Gallatin Place and Hoyt Street at 11 am, the purloiner put three polo shirts in a pillow case and bolted.
