Gunman in disguise

A masked gunman robbed a man at Jay Street on Sept. 24.

The victim told police that the gun-toting bandit approached near Myrtle Avenue and Willoughby Street at 10 pm, beforing grabbing the victim’s phone and driver’s license.

Blade runner

A blade-wielding brute robbed a college student at MetroTech Center on Oct. 3.

The 18-year-old victim told police that he was walking near Lawrence Street at 7:40 am when the razor blade-toting lout demanded his phone, Apple AirPods, and cash, before punching the victim in the face in the face and fleeing towards Jay Street.

Cashless robbery

Employees stole almost $2,000 from a cashless Montague Street store between February and Sept. 25.

The manager told police he discovered the scammers’ scheme when he found fraudulent receipts for $1,852 in cash transactions over a seven-month span at the store between Clinton and Henry streets, despite the store not accepting cash.

The manager only recovered $20 from the swindlers’ ill-gotten treasure trove, according to police.

Sandal slap

A mom hit a boy with a sandal at Water Street on Sept. 28.

The 7-year-old victim told police that his mother smacked him in the leg with the piece of footwear at their apartment between Dock and Main streets around 9 pm.

Jailhouse knock

Police arrested a man they suspect of assaulting a cop inside the Atlantic Avenue House of Detention on Oct. 3.

The victim told police that the man, who is an inmate at the facility between Boerum Place and Smith Street, lunged at the officer and punched him several times on Sept. 19 around 7 pm.

Police arrested the man on Oct 3 and slapped him with felony assault charges.
