Love is blind — but it still gets thirsty.

A sensually lit new cocktail lounge is serving up masterfully mixed drinks in atmosphere ripe for romance.

Mayflower Social, a speakeasy-inspired bar lit by candles, beckons date-night lovebirds to stop for a post-dinner nightcap or two — or five.

“We’ve got great craft cocktails with prices that let you stay all night,” said co-owner Brendan Bliss. “It’s upscale but still affordable.”

The $10 specialty drinks include “The Magellan,” a tequila-basil-and-pineapple concoction; “The Queens Lunch,” a gin-watermelon-and-cucumber treat; and “The Trotsky,” a spicy potion of vodka, ginger and peppercorn.

The intimate bar — which had a soft opening couple months ago but only recently hung a sign — also serves small plate fare such as bruschetta and soppressata, most for under $5, and is affiliated with the next-door Italian restaurant Aita.

Bliss said he chose the “off-the-beaten-path” venue — in a blink-and-miss-it space in Clinton Hill — because nightlife-centric neighborhoods such as Williamsburg are already oversaturated with bars.

He is now partnering with Kristy Banister of the haircuts and cocktails venue High Horse Salon, and plans to lure an upscale but unpretentious neighborhood crowd.

“It’s a dynamite space with a laid-back vibe,” he said.
