Another mugging

Gun goons

Two gun-toting thugs mugged an 18-year-old on 11th Avenue on April 17.

The victim told police that he was at the corner of 81st Street just before 11:30 pm when the two suspects stopped him and one pulled out a silver handgun.

“Don’t say anything,” the thief said as he ordered the victim to hand over his wallet and iPod.

Cops are asking for anyone with information to call the 68th Precinct at (718) 439-4211.

Drunken ghost

A phantom burglar slipped into a Fifth Avenue bar early on April 14, taking several hundreds of dollars in cash and spirits, cops were told.

Workers at Fannings Pub at 80th Street told police that the bar was locked up tight after last call at 4 am.

But about a half hour later, a cleaning crew discovered that the register and change box had been rifled through and $1,200 in cash and booze had been taken.

Illegal intrusion

A thief broke into a 93rd Street home and made off with a nice haul of jewels on April 17.

The 38-year-old resident told cops that $1,500 in jewelry, plus a U.S. passport, a laptop computer, a digital camera and a credit card were taken while she was out of the house between noon and 4 pm.

Fashion crime

Cops are investigating a woman’s claims that someone stole her Coach wallet as she tried on clothes at Century 21 on April 14.

The 37-year-old victim, a resident of 93rd Street, told police that she had her wallet with her when she went into the dressing room at the 86th Street store.

About an hour later, she discovered that the wallet, as well as the $400 and credit cards inside, was missing.

Kicked into cell

A 39-year-old man was arrested after he followed a woman to her 68th Street apartment and tried to force his way inside on April 13, cops said.

The thug trailed the 30-year-old woman to her home near 16th Avenue at 2 pm and tried to break open the door with a metal tool he had on him.

When cops arrived, he was still in the process of kicking in the door, police said.

He was charged with attempted burglary and criminal possession of burglars’ tools. The woman, police said, was startled, but otherwise unharmed.

Home ransacked

A thief ran off with more than $15,000 in cash and jewels after ransacking a 66th Street home on April 8.

The 35-year-old resident of the house, which is near 13th Avenue, returned at 3:30 pm to find her apartment door forced open and $7,300 in cash and $8,200 in jewelry missing.
