his spring and summer, Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concert Series offers free concerts in Brooklyn, with performances scheduled through June 29.
For 32 years, the Neighborhood Concert Series has been presenting free concerts for New Yorkers of all ages in collaboration with museums, colleges, and libraries, as well as community, cultural, and religious centers.
These concerts are free and open to the public and geared toward family audiences.
Highlights of spring/summer 2008 Neighborhood Concerts schedule include:
· June 16 at 6 p.m.: Abaca String Quartet at the Midwood Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, 975 East 16th Street; 718-252-0967.
