A crook broke into a Bragg Street apartment on Aug. 3, where he caused more than $300 worth of damage.
The deranged vandal forced open the basement door of the apartment between Avenues W and X at 5:30 pm, where he proceeded to smash holes into a closet door and a wall, cops said. The man then made his way to an electrical closet, where he shut off power to the apartment.
Tea time
Someone burglarized a house on E. Fourth Street on Aug. 17, taking a tea set worth $50.
The victim’s son told police that his sister left their parent’s house between Avenues S and T at noon, and her arrived an hour later to find the front door busted in. He called police before looking inside and finding the tea set missing, cops said.
Easy pickings
Two thugs robbed a 15-year-old girl on Sheepshead Bay Road on Aug. 13, taking her iPhone.
The victim told police that she was between Jerome and Voorhies avenues at 9:35 am when the crooks ambushed her, grabbing her hand and twisting it behind her back.
“Give me your f—— phone,” one of the perps growled, before taking the victim’s smartphone and fleeing.
Snapple heist
A thirsty thief burglarized the Kings Highway restaurant Luna Pizza on Aug. 19, taking a case of Snapple.
The crook entered the eatery between E. 12th Street and Coney Island Avenue sometime after 2 pm, and headed straight for the fridge, where he grabbed a box of iced tea and fled out the basement door, cops said.
Fear itself
Three goons robbed a woman on E. 13th Street on Aug. 18, taking $500, a dress, and the victim’s iPad.
The victim told police that she was between Kings Highway and Avenue R at 4 pm when the thugs approached her and threatened to beat her up. Not wanting any trouble, the victim handed over her valuables, worth more than $1,000 altogether, and the crooks fled, cops said.
Masked men
A crook ransacked a man’s E. Fifth Street home on Aug. 19, although it is unclear if any property was stolen.
The bandit broke into the victim’s house between Avenues T and U through a side door at 3:10 am, and pilfered a first floor cabinet and two closets on the second floor, cops said. A witness, who lives nearby, told police that she saw two men wearing masks and gloves fleeing from the location into a waiting black sport utility vehicle.
Stolen sports utility
A goon took off in a man’s 2008 Honda Pilot that he parked on Shore Parkway sometime between Aug. 10 and 14.
The victim told police he’d left his sports utility vehicle near Bedford Avenue at 6:45 pm, and returned on Aug. 14 to find it had been stolen. The victim’s car was locked and he had his keys with him when it was stolen, cops said.
Caught on camera
Cops are hunting for two crooks who they say robbed an Avenue U supermarket of $4,500 on Aug. 18.
The thieves — wearing masks — were caught by surveillance cameras entering the market between E. 24th and E. 23rd streets at 4:45 am and cutting the lock on the front gate to gain access. Inside, the duo ransacked the registers, cops said.
Have a seat
A 46-year-old man was arrested for assaulting an Emergency Medical Services translator on Aug. 19.
The victim told police that he was between Avenues W and X at 4:15 pm when the suspect bashed him in the face with a chair.
Japanese export
A thief drove off with a man’s car that was left along Brown Street on Aug. 15.
The victim told police that he left his 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution near Avenue Z at 9 pm, and returned the next day to find an empty spot.
Pistol whipped
A thug pistol whipped and robbed a man on Avenue W on Aug. 16, taking $500 and the victim’s cellphone.
The victim told police that he was between Nostrand Avenue and Batchelder Street at 10:21 pm when, without warning, the goon bashed him over the head with the firearm. As the victim lay on the ground dazed, the crook rummaged through his pockets and took his valuables, cops said.
An app for that
Cops arrested a 15-year-old boy for robbing a woman of her iPad on Avenue Z on Aug. 15.
The victim, 22, told police that she was near Nostrand Avenue at 11:30 am when the suspect grabbed her iPad and threw her to the ground. When she contacted police, they were able to use a tracking application on her iPad to locate the suspect, cops said.
Class act
A 29-year-old man was arrested for beating up a woman on Cyrus Avenue on Aug. 11.
The victim told police that was between Madoc and Noel avenues at 8 pm when the suspect threw a glass bottle in her direction, narrowly missing her, before leaning into her face with his fist.
Camry crook
A brazen crook made off with a man’s car that was parked on E. First Street on Aug. 15.
The victim told police that he parked his 2001 Toyota Camry between Gravesend Neck Road and Avenue W at noon, and returned at 6 pm to find it stolen.
