The 38-year-old assistant manager of a Nostrand Avenue business was arrested for allegedly stealing cash from his employer on April 23.

Another employee at the business between Avenues X and Y told police that the assistant manager was responsible for transferring money from the register to a safe located in the facility.

According to the employee, more than $16,000 was found to be missing from the safe — and the missing funds disappeared during the worker’s shift.

Peer pressure

An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly robbing an Ocean Avenue apartment of an iPhone, a watch, and a Playstation Portable on April 26.

The suspect admitted to police that the entered the apartment between Gravesend Neck Road and Avenue W sometime after 7 am with another man to steal the victim’s valuables.

“He forced me, because he said if I don’t assist him, he’s going to tell my mom I’m back into using pills,” the suspect allegedly told police.

Walk around

Cops arrested a man for allegedly stealing a wallet from an E. Third Street home on Nov. 17 of last year.

The victim told police that the suspect knocked on the door of his apartment between Kings Highway and Avenue S at 7:30 pm. The victim let the man inside and they talked while he walked around the victim’s apartment.

When the suspect left, the victim noticed that his wallet and Chase credit card were missing from his living room table. Later, surveillance footage from a Duane Reade drug store showed the suspect purchasing a gift card worth $105.95, and $12.07 worth of cigarettes with the victim’s credit card, according to court papers.

Hopping fences

Cops arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly trespassing on and damaging another man’s property on Beaumont Street on April 24.

The victim told police that he saw the suspect climb over his fence near Oriental Boulevard at 11:30 am, and then throw a bicycle into the victim’s car.
