Cops are still looking to identify a trio of suspects who impersonated police officers during a violent burglary in Bay Ridge earlier this year.

Authorities on Sept. 29 released surveillance footage of three hooded men wanted for breaking and entering into a home near 83rd Street and Third Avenue at about 12:30 am on June 5.

Cops say the suspects entered through an unlocked window and, once inside, identified themselves as police before assaulting two male residents, ages 36 and 83, with a flashlight.

The three men — all wearing black or blue hooded sweaters or jackets — made off with an undetermined amount of narcotics, and fled the scene in a blue four-door sedan.

In the 68th Precinct, where the June incident occurred, felony assaults and robberies are trending down year-to-date compared to 2019, according to NYPD data. Burglaries, however, are up approximately 34 percent.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
