Elevator stick-up
A rough rogue robbed a Bayview Avenue woman of $600 on Feb. 3.
The victim was waiting for an elevator in her building between Neptune Avenue and W. 33rd Street at 7:14 pm. When the lift arrived, a stranger pushed her in, pinned her against a wall, and said, “this is a stick-up,” before grabbing the cash and fleeing, police said.
Weasel cuffed
Police arrested a 20-year-old man who they said had sex with a 13-year-old girl multiple times between October and February.
The suspect brought the girl to his home on Brighton Third Street between Ocean View Avenue and Brighton Beach Avenue and allegedly had sex with her five times since Oct. 31, a criminal complaint states.
Chair therapy
Police arrested a guy who they said threw a seat at a 51-year-old nurse at an Ocean Parkway hospital on Feb. 2.
The accused chair-chucker was in the emergency room of the medical center at Shore Parkway at 7:14 pm when he reportedly let the seat fly at a nurse, hitting her in the hand and causing swelling and bruises, a criminal complaint states.
Police could not specify why the man was in the hospital, a spokesman said.
Gravesend burglar
A brash burglar busted down the front doors of two Gravesend residences on Feb. 5.
• The first break-in went down at 10 am on Avenue Z between W. First and W. Second streets, police said. The burglar took jewelry and $1,800, police said.
• Hours later, at 2 pm, someone busted into a home on West Street between Shore Parkway and Avenue Z and took $4,000, according to law enforcement sources.
Thieving tot
A sneaky preteen slipped a phone from a woman’s pocket on the corner of Harway Avenue and Bay 49th Street on Feb. 5.
The victim was waiting for her child to get out of school at 2 pm when the kid, who police say was about 12 years old, walked up and took the woman’s $800 phone from her coat pocket, police said.
The victim didn’t realize what had happened until the girl was gone, a police report states.
