Bash and bite
A 44-year-old woman was arrested for throwing a bottle at a man — and then biting him — on Avenue U on July 15.
The victim told police that he was between E. 26th and E. 27th streets at 1:45 am when the woman chucked a wine bottle his way and then chomped down on his arm.
Drunk and driving
Police arrested a 27-year-old man who they say was driving drunk on Emmons Avenue on July 15.
The arresting officer was near E. 23rd street at 3:05 am when he noticed the suspect change lanes without signaling. After pulling the driver over, the officer saw that he was intoxicated, noticing red watery eyes, an alcoholic odor, and an unsteady gate, police said.
Caned
A 20-year-old man was arrested for beating and robbing a man on Aven ue U on July 5.
The victim told police that he was near E. 14th Street at 9 pm, when the suspect, acting with several accomplices, surrounded him. Another man then bashed the informant with a cane, and the group fled with the victim’s cellphone, police said.
