Delivery deception
Two brazen crooks robbed and assaulted a man, causing minor scratches, at his home on E. 26th Street on Nov. 19.
Police say one of the criminals posed as a postal service driver, knocking on the victim’s door near Avenue X at 11:45 am with mail in his hand, and when the victim answered, the bandit sprayed him in the face with pepper spray, put him in a chokehold, and demanded to know where the money was.
The second brute wrestled the victim, also putting him in a chokehold, while the first goon looked in the bedroom for money and valuables, according to cops. The pair then fled toward Avenue X, police said.
Phone grab
Police arrested a man for allegedly robbing another man on Sheepshead Bay Road on Nov. 20.
The suspect allegedly hit the victim in the face and stole the his smartphone near Avenue Z at 10:50 pm, according to police.
Park thief
A nogoodnik robbed a woman on E. 17th Street on Nov. 21.
Police say the victim was in a park near Avenue S at 3:30 pm when the baddie picked up her Guess jacket from the ground and started to leave. When the woman confronted the scoundrel, the thief hit her in the head, and fled the park with the jacket, which had the victim’s iPhone in the pocket, according to authorities.
Slice stealer
A lout stole a delivery man’s money and food on Bragg Street on Nov. 22.
The victim was waiting to drop off a pizza near Avenue X at 12:40 am when the thief threatened him with a black gun and stole $130 and the pie from him, according to police.
Gunpoint robbery
A group of gunmen robbed a man of cash and electronics on Voorhies Avenue on Nov. 22.
The victim told police he was leaving his red BMW near E. 15th Street at 2:50 am when the criminals threatened him with guns and stole his iPhone, jewelry, money, and Apple MacBook.
Ransacked apartment
A burglar looted jewelry and cash from a woman’s apartment on E. Fifth Street on Nov. 20.
The woman told police she went out shopping and when she returned to her home near Avenue R at 1 pm, her apartment door was unlocked and damaged, and the space was ransacked.
Cops say the thief took money and yellow metal jewelry.
Window entrance
A sneak stole jewelry from an Ocean Avenue apartment on Nov. 25.
The prowler forced their way through the window, breaking the metal brackets, and took jewelry and money from the place near Avenue S at 4:30 pm, according to cops.
A witness told police she tried to open the door but discovered a chair was blocking the entrance, and after hearing the looter flee out the windows, she called the superintendent, according to the police report.
