One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a massive multi-car collision in East Flatbush on Monday evening.

Police claim that a 24-year-old driver behind the wheel of a BMW 440i was speeding with a 23-year-old passenger in the northbound bus lane on Utica Avenue when he crashed into a BMW SUV that was attempting a turn left at Farragut Road.

The crash sent the speeding driver’s car hopping onto the sidewalk, before hitting a light pole and a parked Mercedes outside H&V Auto Collision repair shop, police said.

After the initial victim’s car was hit, the vehicle smashed into a nearby Honda SUV, which in turn crashed into the car parked in front of it, a BMW sedan occupied by a 35-year-old man.

Paramedics rushed the 23-year-old passenger of the speeding car to Brookdale Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. EMS workers took the driver to Kings County Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

All the other people involved in the crash refused medical attention.

The NYPD has not made any arrests in the case, and the investigation remains ongoing, cops said.
