Police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing a victim to death in Ditmas Park last February, according to authorities.

Arresting officers cuffed 31-year-old Brooklynite Mamadou Barry, who allegedly fatally slashed 19-year-old Mamadou Bah inside a local barber shop on the night of Feb. 18, cops said.

EMS responded to the scene and took Bah with a stab wound to his torso to Kings County Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead, according to police.

Police believe the alleged homicide came after an argument that began when the teen victim spilled a drink on Barry inside the hair cutter, authorities said. The suspect had fled the scene before investigators arrived.

Now, after a nearly 10 month search for the suspect, police cuffed Barry on one count of second degree murder.

The incident comes amid a 67 percent spike in murders throughout Brooklyn so far in 2020 — with 160 murder victims this year, as opposed to 96 during the same timeframe in 2019, according to police statistics.
